Foster foods commenced its production of biscuits in 1992. After the success story of Foster Foods, in 2001 printing unit at Kunnamkulam, Thrissur styled Grand Fost Print & Pack (P) Ltd was started. After its successful operation for a few years the Directors thought of investing into another venture in the baking industry. This has resulted in the birth of Foster Hot Bread (P)Ltd. This Supreme Technology unit started its unit during November 2005 at Kinfra Food Park, Kakkanchery, Malappuram District. The Technology used in the production process is Italian and the company follows the processing technology transferred to us by the Central Food Technological Research Institute ( C F T R I ) ,Mysore.This is the 3rd largest Bread, Cake & Cookies manufacturing unit of Kerala. Bread is being marketed in the three nearby districts viz Malappuram, Calicut & Thrissur, where as cake and other bakery products throughout the state. The company is in the stage of product diversification and test for increasing the shelf life and quality is being carried out.Cashew Nut Cookies & Bar Cake in different flavours are on the stream. As a further step toward quality maintenance and management the Board of Directors have decided to go for HACCP (Hazard Analysis &Critical Control Point) Certification and we are in the process of the same and are hopeful of completing the procedures with in a few months.We are very proud to say that Hotel Taj Residency, Calicut is one of our esteemed client. Our major clientele includes MIMS Hospital Calicut, Supplyco Super markets,Calicut University Co-operative Store ,Appollo Hospital Cannanore & Ammana Toyota Cannanore and many more.
