Prominare - Architectural are a Cochin based firm engaged in the profession of Construction Management & Monitoring of Architecture / Town planning, Engineering, Interior designs, landscape Architecture and Renovation Designs / Building preservation. The firm established itself in 1995 with the vision to develop into an independent Quantity Surveying, Construction Management & Monitoring agency that focuses more on professional and scientific management needs of the design & implementation process.Today, our firm is run with the help of a dedicated staff and closely Co-ordinated efforts of Associates and specialist Consultants in various interdisciplinary fields, thoroughly committed to the achievement of high quality design and service, based on strong technical expertise to serve client needs.OUR PHILOSOPHY & CORPORATE GOALOurs is a progressive Design I Construction management/ monitoring firm, employing modern and innovative new age design & management concepts . Realizing this we have acquired the capability and skill to implement a full fledged CPM network based monitoring & management system which is indispensably and effectively used all over the world to control project cost & duration. Our in-house software development team constantly upgrade the indigenously developed cost management MIS to suite every situational requirements. Thus we now have the ability to manage a project, both on the interior and the exterior, from the start of design clear to the completion of construction. This is an advantage to the perspective owner as consolidation of service improves the overall production efficiency, quality and reduces the Overall cost.We seek to manage costs by producing and then monitoring an efficient, timely and effective pre planning budget solution based on current rate analysis factors derived specifically for the project. Management at the firm insists that in order for customer to understand the value of architectural services the projects must be effectively managed to not only control cost but also to control the scheduling of the projects. We have found that the time schedule, in some cases can be even more important issue to some customers than the construction budget. Thus, from the onset of a project, we use both MS projects or primavera programs to determine the cost of construction and the expected completion date. These technology allow the firm to give our client details lists of expected cost, the scheduling of the construction priorities, and the potential completion date.Quality assurance is a team effort at Prominare. Clients, Associates, Consultants, Employees of the firm are encouraged to participate in design discussion and projects development. This method created high quality initial product, results in fewer change orders and lower overall project cost.PERSONS AND ASSETSK.M SREEKUMAR (B.Arch, Dip MCM (NICMAR): Prominare is headed by K.M Sreekumar. Sreekumar obtained his Architectural degree from Regional Engineering College Tiruchirappalli In 1991. He worked with M/s Kumar Group from 1991 to 1993 after which he entered into a partnership with K.M Jayadevan and formed M/s Jayadevan & Sree. He then obtained his Masters in. Construction Management from the reputed National Institute of Construction Management and Research (NICMAR) Pune in 1996. In 1997, Ar Sreekumar branched of separately and started of added new career as a Management & planning professional by taking up the role of Project manager in a Three star Hotel at Palakkad which was under construction. Since then he is involved as a consultant in a number of Construction works and is considered an expert in CPM I PERT network system implementation. Ar Sreekumar is registered with the Indian Council of Architecture CA/92/15191 and is also an Associate of the Indian institute of Architects A-9624.INFRASTRUTURE: The Firm occupies 1500 S.ft space Of Owned space in a prime locality and employs 15 technical staff & 3 non technical staff. All our technical staff are Computer literate. The firm has 5 pentium level computers with UPS backup and plotting & printing facilities including A0 large Format plotting.
