Bhima Jewellers was founded in the year 1925 in Alleppey, Kerala, a town well known for its picturesque backwaters. The founder, Shri. K.Bhima Bhattar seeing the growth of the prosperous town, felt the need for a trusted jeweller in the area. He opened shop in the prominent Mullakkal area and soon started attracting customers from all over the state.Today the name Bhima is associated with trust combined with quality and purity. Gradually, Bhima group spread across the state of Kerala before venturing outside to Chennai and Bangalore. The group has since opened its outlets in Europe, the US and West Asia.Assisted by his sons, the name and fame of Bhima spread all over the region necessitating the opening the Bhima retail outlets at :* Cochin in the year 1978 and 1996* Thiruvananthapuram in 1991* Bangalore, opened in October 1999* Kollam in July 2000* Calicut in August 2001* Kottayam in July 2002Today the name Bhima is associated with trust combined with quality and purity. Gradually, assisted by his 5 sons, the name 'Bhima' spread all over the region necessitating the opening of a second shop in Cochin in the year 1978.The third shop was opened in Trivandrum in 1991 and the fourth again in Cochin in 1996. Very soon Bhima is going to add another jewel in their crown, the new showroom coming up at Nagercoil, Tamil nadu. A 4000 Sq ft Showroom with all ultra modern facilities and a stste of the art jewellery collection. This is considered to be one of the largest in India and it houses one of the largest collections of Bridal jewellery, Antique jewellery, Diamond jewellery, Gents jewellery, Children's jewellery, Traditional Kerala jewellery and Gemstone jewellery among many other unique collections.

Dhanalakshmi Weaving Works also popularly known by its brand name "Dhantex" is a complete composite and vertical type of manufacturing facility with fully owned and controlled factories and process houses in and around Cannanore and Coimbatore and is also supported by weaving units in different parts of South India.Dhanalakshmi Weaving Works was established in 1929 and has been accorded the status of Recognised Trading House by the Government of India and is currently handling different commodities besides Textile products. Dhanalakshmi is an ISO 9002 certified group. The group employs over 1000 people in its processing & weaving departments. The sewing made-up goods division employs over 400 people at their new and modern plant."Dhanalakshmi" with its fully owned mechanised dyeing factories, in house testing facilities etc., also owns 4 fully equipped Handloom factories with over 400 looms capable of weaving widths upto 300 cms. The on-line quality management systems in all the processes are documented as per ISO standards. Bulk of the products are exported to over 20 countries around the world. The customer list includes world renowned stores, design groups and brands, importers and wholesalers. The company is capable of weaving width fabrics on automatic Rapier / Sulzer looms ensuring high quality and productivity.
