The Mathrubhumi Daily. Born 18th March 1923. Formed by a group of patriots headed by K.P. Kesava Menon, the Mathrubhumi evolved in the crucible of the freedom movement and went on to become an intricate part of the social fabric of Kerala. Our youngest division MBTV, scripting wholesome entertainment, was envisaged to reinforce our presence in the news and information segments. It has within a short span of time established its sway over discerning viewers by providing quality TV software programming.
