Kerala Nut Food is part of the K.P.P group, who is one of the pioneers of cashew industry in India. Late K. Parameswaran Pillai founded the group in 1925. The group from a modest start with a single processing unit has today around 60 such units with over 17,500 employees in South India, thereby making it the second largest processor of blanched cashew kernels in the world. The group has not hence looked back and has been constantly been in the forefront of the Cashew trade..KERALA NUT FOOD CO, was started in 1965 when the K.P.P group was bifurcated into four sister concerns with the four sons of Mr. K. Parameswaran Pillai at the helm each individual company.Mr. P. Gangadharan Pillai, who is the eldest son of Mr. K. Parameswaran Pillai, is managing KERALA NUT FOOD CO. Mr. Gangadharan Pillai or Ganga as he is known to most of the trading community is one of the most experienced men in the cashew industry with over 55 years in the cashew trade. It was during this time that he built up a reputation for himself and the group with his untiring efforts. He has been the Chairman of the Cashew export promotion council for over 7 times and has also been The President of the Federation of Indian Export Organization (F.I.E.O), New Delhi. He was the Permanent Ambassador from India to the International Nut Council till he relinquished the post in the year 2000. His grandson Dr. S. Unnikrishnan is assisting him.

This Supreme Technology unit started its unit during November 2005 at Kinfra Food Park, Kakkanchery, Malappuram District. The Technology used in the production process is Italian and the company follows the processing technology transferred to us by the Central Food Technological Research Institute ( C F T R I ) ,Mysore.This is the 3rd largest Bread, Cake & Cookies manufacturing unit of Kerala. Bread is being marketed in the three nearby districts viz Malappuram, Calicut & Thrissur, where as cake and other bakery products throughout the state. The company is in the stage of product diversification and test for increasing the shelf life and quality is being carried out.Cashew Nut Cookies & Bar Cake in different flavours are on the stream. As a further step toward quality maintenance and management the Board of Directors have decided to go for HACCP (Hazard Analysis &Critical Control Point) Certification and we are in the process of the same and are hopeful of completing the procedures with in a few months.We are very proud to say that Hotel Taj Residency, Calicut is one of our esteemed client. Our major clientele includes MIMS Hospital Calicut, Supplyco Super markets,Calicut University Co-operative Store ,Appollo Hospital Cannanore & Ammana Toyota Cannanore and many more.
