He graduated from Trivandrum Engineering College in 1965 and has worked in most of the states in India from 1965 to 1976. He is the recepient of several national awards. He has also worked in Middle east countries from 1976 to 1986 in various road projects, multistoried buildings, Tele communications etc. From 1978 onwards he is in business as Property Developer and setup his own company called Real Estate Development and Commercial Agencies Pvt Ltd., and started Foundation Engineering and Civil Contracting through out South India, from 1987 onwards under the name of Relcon Foundations Pvt Ltd.
